Alberto Fabio Ambrosio is Italian and lives in Istanbul. After his studies in philosophy and theology at the Dominican Studium of Bologna, he started to study the Turkish language and civilisation at the university of Strasbourg. He wrote a PhD thesis on the practices and doctrines of the Whirling Dervishes. Alberto Ambrosio is also a member of the IFEA (French Institute for Anatolian Studies). |
