From February 4 to 7, 2024, a Congress organized by Pluriel, with the support of the Anawati Chair, was held in Abu Dhabi to examine in depth the impact and prospects of the Document on Human Fraternity, signed in 2019 by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad al-Tayyib.The central theme of this congress focused on the impact of the Document on Human Fraternity on coexistence between Christians and Muslims worldwide, as well as on future prospects. The main objective was to evaluate the reception of this document on its fifth anniversary and to explore the transformations necessary to promote universal human fraternity in social, political, and theological fields.
