Matthieu Palayret is French and lives in Cairo.
After a thesis in biophysics in the United Kingdom, he joined the Dominican order in 2015.
Then, after a master’s degree in theology in Fribourg, he joined the community in Cairo in 2020. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Islamic studies at the American University in Cairo.
